Scope of this QMS Manual
This manual establishes a structured quality system for companies performing repairs on:
 Pressure vessels
 Power boilers
 Process piping (where jurisdictionally applicable)
 Other metallic pressure-retaining components

All repair activities are performed at field locations under the control of the Certificate Holder, in
accordance with NBIC Part 3 and applicable jurisdictional requirements.

This system does not include:
 Alterations
 Shop repair activities
 Non-metallic repairs
 Design responsibility outside the limits permitted by NBIC
 Manufacturing activities under ASME Section I, IV, or VIII
