Purpose and Requirements
The QMS Manual shall include a Table of Contents identifying each section by title, section number (if applicable), revision level, and date, in accordance with applicable ASME requirements and NBIC Part 3.

Why is it required?
The Table of Contents provides a controlled reference to the QMS Manual, allowing the Certificate Holder, Authorized Inspector, ASME, and National Board to verify the manual  and organization, completeness, and current revision status.
