Objective of Supported Training – “R” Certification Process (NBIC Part 3)

This training aims to guide organizations through the essential steps required to obtain the
National Board “R” Certificate of Authorization. It focuses on establishing an inspection
agreement with an Authorized Inspection Agency, preparing and submitting the application to
NBBI, and ensuring compliance with NBIC Part 3 requirements, including qualified personnel
and a functional QC program. Participants will learn how to prepare for and succeed in the joint
review process and understand the practical considerations—such as staffing, facility readiness,
and quality system implementation—needed to achieve “R” Stamp certification within months.
