It assigns responsibilities, establishes hold points, and ensures that work does not proceed beyond the Authorized Inspector’s hold
points without acceptance. It also controls final inspection, pressure testing, marking, and Manufacturer’s Data Reports, providing documented evidence that applicable Code requirements have been met before certification.
